In 1894-06-11, Thomas A. Edison bought back his 1200 shares in this label, reassuming control from the North American Phonograph Company.

In 1897, the Ohio Phonograph Company was purchased and merged into this label, allowing sales branches to be opened in Chicago and Dayton.

Between those periods, this label functioned as a distributor for United States Phonograph Company releases.
