Annotation

Formed from the ashes of Dunedin band Scum Hammer due to the passing of drummer Brent Carr (RIP). The remaining members swapped instruments with a slight change in sound and proceeded to play a whopping two shows only in late 2016 before disbanding for a member relocating abroad in 2017.

Abschäumer roughly translates to "Protein Skimmer" in German and is a reference to being a more bastardised version of Scum Hammer - deep stuff .

This album was recorded by Nathan around late November/early December 2016 in the carpet dungeon, Ravensbourne, Dunedin.

Cheers to all who came/come to shows at the crown hotel and other Dunedin venues keeping underground music alive. Much appreciated!
