LACKGIRL: BIRTH IN THE DARK is a transmedia doujin collaboration, primarily between Dontsugel and Foxtail-Grass Studio, released at Comiket 94. Foxtail-Grass Studio's contribution was the "Pages of Sounds" soundtrack album and the image song "Invisible Line" (featuring F9) – available via an event-exclusive download code. Dontsugel produced a 78-page concept and production art book.
BIRTH IN THE DARK is part of Dontsugel's multi-part LACKGIRL story / concept production project, in which Dontsugel and collaborating circles create concept and production artwork for the future-world magical girl story.
