Double Fantasy

This album was intended to be John Lennon's comeback album and was a good chance of The Beatles reuniting. But less than a month after the album was released, that dream had failed when a young man from Hawaii was lurking in the shadows when a white limousine pulled over to the entrance of the dekota in New York City where John and Yoko lived. There the young Hawaiian man sees Yoko getting out of the Limousine and then John gets out. He knods at Yoko but she didn't acknowledge him. He then walks a few feet behind John. And says "Mr. Lennon" Lennon stops and turns around to see his jealous fan, and all of the sudden, the fan fires the gun at him. That Hawaiian fan was 25 year old Mark David Chapman. Chapman had shot that dream down. The dream horribly, sadly shattered when John Lennen had died at the hospital. The album sadly became a farewell album, but it won a grammy in 1981.
