Annotation

The back sleeve information regarding the orchestra on Schubert's no. 4 is wrong. By comparing this recordings with those on YouTube or on Presto Classical you can tell, that it's the same performance, maybe based on different tape recordings (bootleg vs. radio) or significantly enhanced digital re-mastering.

There is some confusion regarding the exact concert date and set list (see Klemperer Rarities: Amsterdam, Vol. 13 (1957) and Brahms: Haydn-Variationen/Schubert: Sinfonie Nr.4/Strauss: Till Eulenspiegel) but I trust most the dutch broadcasting corporation (listen to 2nd Radio Annoucement).
