Digital album was formerly available for download, upon digital purchase of the standard mastering digital copy of the release, and at the following sampling rates:
- 16 bit/44.1 kHz (CD quality, lossy and lossless)
- 24 bit/48 kHz (high-resolution quality, lossless)
This is the alternate “audiophile” mastering of Hesitation Marks. The standard "loud" mastering can be found here.
The difference in mastering between the two versions is explained here and here (under the section Different masters).
"Audiophile Version" with alternate mastering, offered as free download with every purchase of any version of Hesitation Marks through NIN's webstore.
Includes; a pdf file containing lyric, credits and artwork by Russell Mills, and a jpg file of the album cover.
