1i am a child watching impossibly complex multicolored explosions devour a city. my skin feels electric, and i am calm, knowing the appetite of the storm will be sated long before it meets me.

2i am stranded in a world of endless concrete pools. bright light in the water down below illuminates machines, and people tending to them, and when i dive to meet them, i drown.

3i am swinging on ropes and vines above crumbling volcanic islands. i lose my grip and slowly fall into the gaps between, where i am gradually burned into a shimmering mist. the entire descent is blissful.

4i am travelling through the wilderness on distorted, treacherous, nonsensical roads. i fear for my life often, but occasionally i am rewarded with vistas of nature that are almost violent in their extravagant beauty.

5i am defeating my enemies, and reconciling with those i have wronged, and speaking with those i have lost.

6i am being shuffled from place to place in an idyllic coastal town. i catch a glimpse of the beach, and run towards it, but reality itself conspires to ensure i am somehow waylaid. this cycle repeats, and the sea cries out for me.

7i am exploring the infinite hotel, where i am entirely alone, or surrounded by people who cannot help me, or in the distinct presence of something unseen and sinister. some rooms are old and rotten, some rooms are clean and new, others contain lost memories.
