Annotation

Reissue with the “To Be True” error corrected on the B‐side label.

This copy has a promo stamp on the B‐side label.

This copy’s runout groove etchings:

Side 1 (stamped): MASTERED BY CAPITOL
Side 1 (hand-etched): kp ZSS-168080 1F F6
Side 2 (stamped): MASTERED BY CAPITOL
Side 2 (hand-etched): kp P ZSS-168081 1H F2

“MASTERED BY CAPITOL” on the runout groove indicates that the record was mastered at Capitol Mastering. “KP” (a signature) on the runout groove indicates that the lacquer was cut by mastering engineer Ken Perry. “P” (very faint) code on the runout groove (side 2) indicates that the record was pressed at Columbia Records Pressing Plant in Pitman, NJ. The “ZSS” prefix on the runout groove (and on the labels) is Columbia Records’ code for 7″ single stereo 45 rpm.
