The Last Great Torch Song

~ Release by Vision Éternel (see all versions of this release, 2 available)

Annotation

Special "Promotional Version" of the 2018 re-issue of "The Last Great Torch Song" EP on CD. The regular version of this re-issue was released as part of the boxed set "An Anthology Of Past Misfortunes" by Abridged Pause Recordings, which was available to the general public. This special "Promotional Version" was only available for press and media employees or for special fans upon request. Special "Promotional Versions" were made for each of the five EPs that were re-issued; "Seul Dans L'obsession", "Un Automne En Solitude", "Abondance De Périls", "The Last Great Torch Song" and "Echoes From Forgotten Hearts". CDs were available either individually or together as part of a 5-CD Promotional Press Pack set.

The packaging is similar to the one found in the "An Anthology Of Past Misfortunes" boxed set. It comes with the same plastic sleeve packaging and cardboard insert and the disc features the same audio content. But the CD face is different; the version in the boxed set has the entire face of the disc coloured, while the special "Promotional Version" has the band name and album title hand-written in matching colours. Inside the sleeve is a business card flyer for the EP, which was also included in the boxed set (the business cards in the boxed set were grouped together, not slipped into each album sleeve). Finally, a special photocopied insert with additional album information is included in the slipcase (this was not available as part of the boxed set, but can be found on Vision Éternel's website).
