Teutonic Witch

~ Release by Reverend Bizarre (see all versions of this release, 2 available)

Annotation

The front cover shows the picture "The Archbishop Watches Elise In The Churchyard" by Helen Stratton, ca. 1900. The CD label is based on "Alchemical Allegory of Putrefaction" by Basil Valentine, 1659.

This release was meant to be published in a limited edition of 1000 copies, but 500 additional copies were printed (according to reliable sources in the web) to meet the demand.

The single debuted on the official Finnish singles chart at postition number 1. It dropped to position number 12 the following week and then off the charts all together. This single was a limited edition release, which was probably the reason for its quick dissapearance from the charts.
