Featuring members of MarineVille and Orchestra of Spheres, Cookie Brooklyn nd the Crumbs are a band from Wellington, New Zealand. forging a fertile territory somewhere between ESG, DNA, and The Shaggs.

'On Television' is a 9 track concept album, with lyrics culled entirely from online discussions about the New York new wave group Television, it’s lead singer Tom Verlaine and other past and present members of the group.

Faced with a paucity of new musical material since Television originally broke up in 1978, fans of the group fill the void by comparing the size of the guitarists hands, discussing whether it’s ok to be an asshole if you’re an ‘artistic genius’ and whether the posts of someone claiming to be Verlaines' ex-lover might indeed be real.

The final song is a true story of Crumbs lead singer Mark Williams accidentally coming across Television at Auckland International Airport and subsequently following them all the way to the departure lounge.
