Annotation

In 1899 The Allentown Band played for the dedication of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, an Allentown landmark dedicated to Civil War Veterans of both North and South. As part of the 100th Anniversary Re-dedication Celebration of the monument, The Allentown Band presented an historic concert at Allentown Symphony Hall based on actual programs presented by the band in the late 1890's under conductor Martin Klingler. This volume is based on the 100th Anniversary Program performed on Saturday, October 3, 1999.
