Annotation
Pony Express Records issued five versions of this release:
- Version 1, released in 1996 in the Canada
- Version 2, released in 1997 in the USA
- Version 3, released in 1998 in Japan
- Version 4, released in 1998 in Japan, promo issue
- Version 5, released in 1999 in the USA
The second version of this CD, which was an official release, but went out of print after Bruce Springsteen sued successfully against the company Pony Express Records - just as he did previously with Flute Music for Masquerade Music for both versions of Unearthed, and also prevented the title Prodigal Son from being released in late 1993.
This has Southern Son, Border Guard and Hollywood Kids replacing the songs Visitation at Fort Horn, Arabian Nights and Jazz Musician from the first issue. This second version was issued in Japan with a different cover, than later a double CD set was issued by Pony Express.
