Desine fata devm flecti sperare precando

This release is a demo of the upcoming full-length album that I'll be producing soon. The approach for this demo was enhancing a rawer atmosphere through the production, but for the album I'll be taking a different approach.

Téleos represents a series of reflections on nature and its order, understood as a performance of the human intellect. Considering this, it is possible to inquire about two problems: the meaning of surrendering to the whims of deities (via religions or pseudoscience) produced by that same intellect, and what it implies for humans to seek mastery over nature, a goal pursued since the dawn of Modernity.

Téleos is about addressing the urgency of reclaiming responsibility for our actions as rational agents, in a time when the survival of the world's living species depends on it. This demands an abandonment of pseudoscience and technical ambition to master nature, as well as naive scientism as a metaphysical basis for understanding the natural order.
