קשה לענות על השאלה מה סוד הצלחתם הבלתי רגילה של תקליטי "בצל-ירוק", הלהקה הנפוצה ביותר במדינה? קול מיוחד אין לשחקני הלהקה, המוסיקה - ככה, המלים - די "שוואך", ועל טיב ההקלטה מוטב לא לדבר. כנראה בכל זאת יש בהם משהו. ארבעת הפזמונים האלה לקוחים ישר מתוך תוכניתם החמישית - ”חתול בשק“. היו בתכנית עוד כמה פזמונים, דוקא מוצלחים יותר, אבל לא נשאר מקום בתקליט בשבילם. באמת מרגיז.
