A study on elegant "slur lifts" - for any instrument.
Learning the control needed to play elegant "down-up" slur and phrase endings takes slow and thoughtful practice. Piano, or any instrument, will benefit from using this study to help achieve musical mastery by focusing on the "breath" needed after each slur/phrase. Technical emphasis on a relaxed wrist, curved fingers and sinking down with the weight of the arm--to produce a full tone from the instrument.
