"Far Cry", recorded 21 December 1960, is the same composition as that titled "Out There", first recorded 15 August 1960. Both original performances are performed on alto saxophone in the same key. On August 15 the head is played in unison with cello; on 21 December in unison with trumpet, at a slower tempo.
